Sundayyy.

Hello ladies! Sorry I haven't posted since wednesday.  I've been sorta feeling under the weather- so to say.  My moods have been off & all over the place, so I just needed a little time to relax! Anyways... It was homecoming weekend this weekend. I didn't go to the game (it was like 40 degrees out!) and I didn't go to the dance either, (no one to go with..).  I haven't really talked about my friends much, have I? Well, that's because I really don't have a lot.  But you know what? I'm okay with that.  Freshman-Sophomore year I had a lot of friends.  You know when you see that group of girls, and they're all such "great" friends? That was me.  I was having a blast.. until they started using party drugs, and going to clubs.  Really, that's not my scene.  I hate drugs I think they're stupid, and a waste of money.  Since then I haven't really found a group to fit in with.  I sill do have friends.. just not as many as I used to.  Honestly, I am very independent and I don't always need a person around.  I've just been counting down until college so I can move on and meet new people.  My school is filled with immature people.  Almost 95% of the kids drink and do drugs every weekend.. and I just don't want to be a part of it!

WHEW! okay, lets get on with the food, right?

H2H Cereal!

Oatmeal!

English Muffins!

Random lunches...

Pizza

No pudge brownies! I didn't have any plain yogurt, so I used applesauce! It was pretty good, but I think the applesauce gave it a VERY fudgy consistency! It was good, but I think ill buy some yogurt!

Stay warm and have a fab. sunday!

I think it's really amazing that you are aware enough of what you want and don't want in life, and comfortable enough with yourself to do your own thing. A lot of kids in my school just went along and got trashed all the time so I ended up being great friends with the 'weird' kids - the literature geeks and book fiends. And that was fun! (College was kind of the same, but maybe less hardcore? There's definitely a bigger spread of people to meet)

Also! What are your no-pudge brownies? It looks so good!
And thanks for the book recommendation. The movie wasn't AWFUL - I mean, it still made me wonder about the book. But just like anything, it's probably better to ignore the scary die-hard fans! (I'm thinking Harry Potter, LotR, Star Wars, video games, well, basically anything).

quality is more important than quantity :) all throughout high school I prided myself on having tons of friends -- but now that I've matured I found that the only ones that are still around are two very close friends - and I'm okay with that! they're the ones that matter! Great thought-provoking post, doll :)
